Pulmonary Function Testing
The Broadmoor Medical Clinic offers employee pulmonary function testing known as a PFT which can be performed for company pre-placement requirements. A pulmonary function test is an evaluation of an individual’s ability to breath. It tests both lung capacity and flow of air out of the lungs. In Occupational Medicine it is used to assess an individual’s lung function and is used to help determine whether or not an individual can safely wear a respirator.
