Further testing

Depending on the specific job demands, more testing, such as an audiogram or pulmonary function test, may be required to establish a base line before employment.

After each evaluation, your company’s designated contact will receive a report noting your employee’s capabilities or limitations. Before making this recommendation, the provider may need to obtain previous medical records or more information about the job’s requirements. As the employer, it is your responsibility to determine suitable accommodations, if required, based on recommendations received.
