DRUG SCREENING SERVICESOur clinic provides comprehensive drug screening and collection services to meet the needs of your company’s drug testing protocols. DOT Drug Testing (Federally Mandated Testing – also known as NIDA Drug Testing)The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations require alcohol and drug testing of drivers, who are required to have a commercial driver’s license (CDL). The following tests are required by FMCSA regulations and performed in accordance to 49 CFR Part 40 & 382:
Drug testing is conducted by analyzing a driver’s urine specimen. The analysis is performed at laboratories certified and monitored by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). All positive drug test results are reviewed and interpreted by a Medical Review Officer (MRO) before they are reported to the employer. All urine specimens are analyzed for the following drugs:
Instant Drug Testing - (Non-Federally Mandated also known as Non-NIDA Drug Screen)Employers can save time with pre-employment hiring schedules as the instant urine drug testing provides quick detection in approximately 10 minutes for Negative results.
Laboratory Based Drug Testing (Non-Federally Mandated)Our clinic offers certified lab based testing with two methods of specimen collection dependent on the employer’s written drug testing policy requirements.
Collection OnlyIf an employer is contracted with a DHHS Drug Testing Laboratory and has an assigned Medical Review Officer, our clinic will perform a “collection only” of the specimen utilizing the designated lab’s collection cup and required Chain of Custody forms provided by the employer or lab. All collections and required forms will be shipped to designated lab and MRO for analysis and interpretation.
